Before discovering the dribbling techniques I am about to share, I faced a lot of challenges in EA FC 25 like losing possession too easily. My moves felt predictable, and defenders read me like a book. Lols sounds funny right? Well I didn’t know when to use close control versus long touches or how to switch up styles depending on the situation.

Watching others dominate with smooth dribbling while I struggled made me feel like I was missing something important.

However, Learning the core dribbling procedures didn’t just make me play better, it completely transformed the way I move on the pitch. Suddenly, I wasn’t just reacting, I was controlling the flow of the game, leaving defenders chasing shadows.

Now let’s get started, time to break down the procedures that will help you outmanoeuvre defenders like a pro in FC 25.

A comprehensive guide to dribbling faster in FC25

Firstly, Never take a first touch into a crowded area. Your first touch can make or break a play. One of the most common mistakes ballers make is rushing their first touch straight into pressure. Do not do that.

Always assess your surroundings before receiving the ball. Is there an opponent nearby? Are you surrounded by defenders? If so, take a touch into open space or even turn back to retain possession.

Secondly, Do not hold the sprint button while controlling the ball. When you constantly hold the sprint button (R2/RT), you make it nearly impossible to keep the ball close to your feet. Only sprint when you are in the clear.

Thirdly, Once you have the ball in control, hold L1 to glue the ball to your feet. Pair this with left stick dribbling and your player becomes incredibly hard to dispossess.

Finally, Release L1 and push into space when you are ready. This quick transition from tight control to explosive movement is what separates good dribblers from great ones.

Practice these procedures and watch your gameplay go from average to elite. Every touch matters. Every decision counts.
